Designed degrading interventions aimed at changing, suppressing, or curing a person's sexual orientation or gender identity.
When there is nothing to cure. We've been working on this legislation for 8 years and it is finally published today.
So many people have worked so hard to push this through including Ban Conversion Practices Stonewall Nia Griffiths Simon Blake Lloyd Russel Moyle Galop and Jayne Ozanne, and I am so proud that my good friend the Minister Liv Bailey has published the draft legislation to Ban Conversion Practices
A full trans inclusive ban just as she promised.
This abuse is still happening in the UK right now.
The campaign now proceeds to the next step and I will not stop fighting until this legislation is passed and this abuse is ended.
