The North has been my home for 35 years and to represent the historic constituency of Jarrow this parliament has been the honour of my life.

I’m proud to be standing as Labour’s candidate for the newly named Jarrow and Gateshead East.

Finally, we have some hope for better for our communities, the chance to elect a Labour Government.

A Labour Government that can start to fix the mess 14 years of Tory chaos and corruption has caused.
